Confessions of a Daddyless Daughter

I have and will always be a daddy’s girl.
Even though we have more fights,
I always seem to think of you day and night.
It’s hard to get you to pass my way.
Even harder to say, we used to put on the best play.

I have and will always be a daddy’s girl.
It’s not your fault you are easily unraveled,
But sometimes I do consider you the Devil.
Cancer gets more love than me,
Not even the fake love I see on tv.

My favorite part is your birthday wishes, too bad I never get them.
Like how you’ve missed them the past years, not even a single gem.
Never will my child be treated like me,
She will live a great life of luxury.
Never will she live this life as I was condemned.

I have and will always be a daddy’s girl.
